Tia Glista
Hi! I am Tia, a student, writer, and sometimes filmmaker based near Toronto. I work on topics related to gender and the body in contemporary cinema and literature, in addition to theories and practices of nonviolence. For five years, I was the Editor in Chief of Couturesque, an online fashion criticism platform that I founded in high school. Currently, I am working on my M.A. degree at the University of Toronto, while writing criticism and essays for global arts publications like Document and Electric Literature. In my spare time, I make dance films and shorts on Super 8. In the forthcoming years, I aspire to begin a PhD and publish a nonfiction/autotheoretical book. Welcome to my website!
